But unlike most of their releases, Arctic April Mother puts me inside a warm house during gentle snowfalls, watching a frozen nature in break until the spring, instead of putting me outside in the Arctic.

Scattered with piano, each track has its own mood, offering us a diversified travel into Yuya Ota's world. Favorite track: Lágrima.

Glacial Movements is pleased to promote for the first time ever, the work of a young artist from Tokyo, Japan - a new talent of experimental ambient music: Yuya Ota.

He is a composer and sound artist, who loves the fusion of classical music with electronic digital music. After graduating school he studied classical composition and he currently works for art galleries, exhibitions and shows. He has done collaborations with other musicians and artists such as Keith Rowe and Andrew Deutsch. The album "Arctic April Mother", written exclusively for Glacial Movements, consists of nine watercolor sounds, inspired by the contrast that coldness expresses. Sometimes white, sometimes vivid the piece focuses on the constantly changing times. All instruments (piano and guitar), sounds and noises, are in perfect harmony and melody with each other as they describe the poetic vision of the “Big Chill“.
